He and all the staff are fine. The location is the best on the beach. Make sure you book a beach front room. The room reflects the price. Want perfection pay 12000BHT a night and stay at The Peninsula Bangkok!" |

Samed Cabana s rooms are fantastic and if not directly on the beach only a few feet away. They are clean, pleasant and have wonderful front porches. Staff was friendly and helpful and the restaurant, which sits on the beach, was great. Try a Kebob for only 150 baht. I dont think you can find a better place for the money right on the beach." |

She did not mind picking up the phone right when you just asked her a question. She was not nice at all. Beach got full of tare. Nobody from the hotel seemed to care about it neither cleaned it... Until a few dozzen came to get their feet cleaned up." |

We booked the family room which was listed as 2 rooms with 2 beds. When we checked in the family room was actually a suite with a sofa bed made into the 2nd bed and was not suitable for sleeping at all.The room itself is basic for the price paid with just concrete floors and the sheets were stained.We requested different rooms and were moved to what we had requested in the first place, 2 rooms with beds for all adults. When questioned why we were not given the rooms to start with the staff was very rude.When I had read the comments posted before on sawadee.com I had thought maybe they were biasd with farang comments misunderstanding some asia attitudes.The truth is the service from the hotel front desk staff and head waiter to both forang and Thai is rude to the point of verbally abusive. I do hope that the management of this hotel reads these reviews and changes the staff. The location of the hotel is very nice with places to eat on the beach in walking distance. I could not comment on the food service for dinner since I was not about to spend anymore at this hotel then I had to for the rooms." |
by Siwa-apa Nasongkhla Visit Date:January 13, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "บริการไม่เป็นมิตร ลูกสาวสั่งเครื่องดิื่ม บริกรแจ้งว่าไม่ว่างต้องทำความสะอาดให้เสร็จก่อน ต้องรอจนกว่าพวกเค้าจะทำงานเสร็จจึงจะทำเครื่องดื่มให้ได้ ห้องที่จองบอกว่าเป็น family สำหรับ 4 คน กลับได้ห้องที่ 2 คนต้องนอนที่sofabed บริกรพยายามพูดจาบังคับให้จ่ายเงินค่าเครื่องดื่มทันทีไม่ยอมให้เซ็นเข้าที่ห้องพักและจ่ายตอนเช็คออก ทั้งๆที่ได้สอบถามก่อนแล้วว่าต้องจ่ายเลยหรือเซ็นได้ คำตอบคือเซ็นได้ ในการไปเที่ยวทะเลบางตรั้งไม่ได้นำเงินติดตัวตลอดเวลาเนื่องจากใส่ชุดว่ายน้ำ เจ้าหน้าที่แจ้งว่าเซ็นได้ แต่กลับเป็นว่าบริกรพูดจาไม่ดีและบังคับให้จ่ายเงินทันที สรุปว่าทำเลดี ห้องแพงกว่าคุณภาพ บริการแย่มากๆ" |

Friendly and helpful staff even if it doesnt seem so at the start. Best resturant on that beach. Be aware to book a beach view room - that is a must. Nice bungalows ON the beach. We definitely would like to book that hotel again. Won Deuane beach felt like the best on Samed.Highly recomended.Take the speed boat from the pier when you go to Samed. Easy and fun to walk from beach to beach along the coast. Highly recomended hotel." |
